Typical special situations may include: quick closing acquisition, foreclosure avoidance, debtor-in-possession, partner or equity buyouts, lease-ups, capital improvements, and discounted debt repurchases.

Wesley Carpenter
Wes is a co-founder and Managing Partner of BlueCay Capital, LLC. Throughout his career, Wes has made both debt and equity real estate investments across commercial asset classes. Prior to forming BlueCay Capital, Wes was a Vice President with Greenwhich Associates, a boutique management consultancy focused exclusively on the financial services industry. With Greenwhich Associates, he advised senior leadership at leading commercial banks on subjects ranging from rebalancing CRE loan portfolios to optimizing treasury services revenues. Wes began his career as a Corporate Development Analyst with global diversified manufacturer Illinois Tool Works (NYSE-ITW), where he advised operating business units on strategic partnership and M&A growth opportunities. Wes received a B.S. from Fairfield University and an M.B.A from Binghamton University
